David Chaimovitz is the Founder and CEO of SETNA, a globally integrated commercial aviation lessor, component supplier, and MRO provider. David brings deep expertise across airframe and engine components, MRO operations, leasing, and the aviation supply chain. In his role as CEO, he oversees six FAA/EASA-certified repair stations and serves as principal investor and manager of Setna Aero Lease. David has been recognized with multiple industry honors, including 7x Inc. 5000, 5x Financial Times Fastest Growing Companies, 5x, Crain’s Fast 50, 4x 145 Top Shop, EY Entrepreneur of the Year, and both Airline Economics and Crain’s 40 under 40 lists. Based in the Chicago area, David spends his time outside of leading SETNA with his wife and three children or on the mats practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
